Mixer Conference 2007
Welcome to the 2007 Mixer Conference!
This year's 7th annual Mixer Conference is being held at the University of Toronto Scarborough! This year's Mixer, themed "Quality CPR: The Missing Link in the Chain of Survival", focuses on patients rarely seen by CERTs (Campus Emergency Response Teams), who also happen to be the sickest patient a response will ever encounter: those without a pulse.
Included this year are seminars on resuscitation, search & rescue, forensics & ballistics and specialty paramedic teams presented by internationally known experts. The banquet promises to be a night to remember and the competition will be unforgettable!
Be sure to arrive Friday night before 8pm to be inspired by our keynote speaker, Dr. Laurie Morrison. Dr. Morrison is the Chair of the ACLS committee of the American Heart Association and Director of the Prehospital and Transport Medicine Research Program at the University of Toronto and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Dr. Morrison has recently created a network throughout southern Ontario that has increased survival from out of hospital cardiac arrest by 50%! We're expecting a great turnout and hope you can attend the conference too.
See You in Toronto!
